![]() ![]() I have to admit I am guilty of many of the alterations stated in the above image. One of the many key points to take from this picture is the fact there is no part of the woman body which is untouched or unaltered. It seems that Dworkin is attacking a culture, a culture which is supporting woman to be victimised for not following these guidelines hair dyed and straightened eyes are lined, mascara stroked on eyelashes then added to with fake eyelashes eyebrows plucked and penciled. It is clear to see that there is no part of the female body which is left untouched. Dworkin portrays exactly what some woman go through on a regular basis to be confident or feel attractive to the sex they want to attract. ![]() The name of the piece and the sketch depicts what many woman feel the need to do to be seen as beautiful and attractive.
